It was a record-setting year in many aspects. We saw growth in all areas of our business, and at this stage of our company's life, we don't see it slowing down anytime soon. So, what did we do?
Our team travelled to over 30 cities globally, created content that exceeded over a million hours of watch time or 114 years' worth, depending on how you would like to look at it, and our brand reached new heights from the countless articles journalists published on us to watching Tidal League on ESPN.
We forged strong relationships and rooted ourselves in the sports and entertainment world by making Tidal League a recognized name in the NBA, NFL, and Track & Field communities.
On top of that, we also stepped outside our comfort zone and jumped into the world of lifestyle and culture. We are launching partnerships with multiple musicians and filming our very first original series that required multiple sets and segments.
Today, Tidal League is more than just a podcast company; we are a multi-media network with audio/visual content that thrives on socials, podcasts, YouTube, and soon-to-be films. Yes, that's right, we have been working tirelessly on our slate to offer original content that can be accessed anywhere and anytime on the platform of your choice.
How do we do this? It takes a team that is focused and unified in our vision to be passionate and creative. The stories that inspire and entertain millions of people every week are because of this team. Our Tidal League family has grown, and our ethos has influenced many; people often ask what the meaning behind "Tidal League" is. Let's start with the word "Tidal" and how it elevates us with how the tides are rising; this is how we continue to challenge ourselves daily. Next, the word "League" now many people associate a league with a group of sports teams that play together; however, the definition of this word is a collection of people, countries, or groups that combine for a particular purpose. So, when you combine the two, you get a group of individuals together to achieve a greater purpose that challenges the status quo and rises above.
As I reflect on this year, yes, we have grown, and I am so proud of our team for constantly pushing the boundaries of possibility. It hasn't been easy, and of course, it has come with its fair share of challenges, but that's the beauty in building a brand from zero. Looking back at how our content has evolved puts things into perspective: not to be embarrassed but to be proud and inspired by where we are today. I have linked some of these examples below and some of our highlights from 2023.
So, where to go next? As we turn the page to 2023 and set our sights on 2024, we are motivated and ready to continue ascending. We have big goals and incredible projects on the way that will have you laughing, smiling and feeling inspired. We promise to create the best athlete and
