Is it Too Early to Predict a 49er Super Bowl? (1 minute read)

Two heavyweights squared off last Sunday night, and what many thought to be the 49ers’ toughest game up to this point of the season ended up being their largest victory. “America’s Team” was no match for the men in Red and Gold as the 9er faithful were treated to one of the best all-around performances we have seen from their team this year.

Having the number one ranked Defense is one thing, but pairing that with an Offense with too many weapons to count makes this 49ers team the most dangerous we have seen in recent years. 49er Captain Arik Armstead shouted out one of his teammates on the last episode of the Third and Long Podcast.

“I don’t think there’s another Running Back in the league that really can compete with Christian (McCaffrey) right now. I think he’s the best in the league.” - Arik Armstead

Not only has McCaffrey solidified himself as the best Running Back in the NFL, but with another Touchdown on Sunday, he has scored in 14 consecutive games. He was not the only player who showed out on Offense as Brock Purdy continued his amazing run of form, throwing for four more touchdowns and zero interceptions. On the receiving end of Purdy’s TDs, we saw George Kittle find the endzone three times, and to top it off, he flashed a “F*ck Dallas” t-shirt which only added more fuel to the fire in this heated rivalry.

Have the 49ers found the perfect recipe to win it all this year? Only time will tell!
