Dubbed the fight of the year, our partners over at “Touch Point Marketing” invited us to this Boxing spectacle at T-Mobile arena in Las Vegas. This was the second boxing match I’ve attended and to put it simply, I have never felt energy like I did Saturday night in T-Mobile arena.
The arena was packed, the stage lit and crowd dimmed for what would be an electric night. Gervonta “Tank” Davis joined by rapper Chief Keef for his ring walk, set the tone and showed the focus “Tank” had entering the ring.
For only the second time in Ryan Garcia’s perfect career he was dropped by “Tank” in Round 2. As the rounds progressed you could tell that Garcia was outmatched, “Tank’s” composure and discipline shined as he picked his spots and eventually in the 7th Round he landed a hard body shot to the liver which ended Garcia.
The atmosphere and energy was unlike any other sporting event I have ever attended and to watch these two athletes put everything on the line was thrilling! Next up New York City in June to watch Xander Zayas!
