Sandy grew up in Livingston, Scotland and since the age of five has been a loyal, loving and often heartbroken supporter of Celtic Football Club. After coming to Canada in 1999, he played soccer competitively, while dabbling in more traditional domestic sporting endeavours like hockey and lacrosse, with mixed success. He was an original season ticket holder of the HFX Wanderers and continues to chase his footballing dreams in the local adult beer leagues and as host of the soccer podcast here at Tidal League.
