Zimbabwean born and raised, Kurt grew up playing and supporting sports mostly found in the Southern Hemisphere. It was when he immigrated to Toronto at age 13 that he fell in love with Spalding and his relationship with basketball began, taking him to the Mecca of IMG Academy and then all over the continent as a competitive young player. As host of "The Tidal League Podcast" this charming and engaging entrepreneur (he is also our company's Founder and CEO) is able to let his inner Baller shine through. A fan of the game, on and off the court, Kurt brings his positive energy and knowledge to the show, getting the untold stories all basketball fans want to hear.
Trish was born into a family of sports fanatics whose father playfully stopped speaking to her at the age of 8 when she decided to switch NHL teams and cheer for "The Great One" instead of his beloved Montreal Canadiens. Over the years her passion for sport spilled over into baseball (she can't watch a game without scoring it) and basketball (Go Raps). On the Tidal League Podcast she gets to explore her other passions outside of sport, like music, fashion, and politics with some of the best in the NBA. A renewed love of basketball through TLP has helped her on her path as a recovering Habs fan.
