CANADIAN SPORTS BRANDS, TIDAL LEAGUE AND DORMIE WORKSHOP, LAUNCH A NEW GOLF VIDEO SERIES TARGETING A NEW AUDIENCE OF GOLFERS TITLED “THE DORMIE EXPERIENCE”. 

HALIFAX, May 17th, 2022 - Located in Halifax, Nova Scotia, Tidal League and Dormie Workshop embody all the values of what it means to be Canadian. With a natural synergy, the two brands have partnered to launch a new golf series highlighting Dormie’s presence on the PGA and LPGA tour. From unique brand activations to playing golf with former and current pro sports athletes, the life of Todd Bishop, co-founder of Dormie, and his brothers offers a unique opportunity to provide content. The series will provide an exclusive behind the scenes looks at some of the best golf courses in North America, inside conversations with pro and amateur golfers, all mixed in with a lot of PG-13 shenanigans featuring the Bishop brothers. Golfers of all ages and types will find this video series has something for them. 

“We’re extremely excited about the launch of this new video series with Tidal League, “said Co-Founder of Dormie Workshop Todd Bishop. “Since launching the brand in 2014, the entire presence behind the company has been one that represents the lives of my brothers and me. We felt there was a need for high end golf products, however, we all have extensive experience playing golf at all levels. Given our background and the opportunities we have with our brand to be a part of some amazing events and meet some cool people, we couldn’t be more thrilled at the prospect of being able to showcase this to our customer base along with a wider audience. 

With the way the market for golf has changed in the last two years, the opportunity for Tidal League to partner with an established brand like Dormie was a no brainer. “We’ve all 

seen a mass influx of millennial and Gen Z golfers getting in the sport, “says Kurt Benson, CEO and Founder. “As such, our goal with the business has always been to find ways to create and produce unique content and this fits in with our model perfectly. Expanding into golf has been something we’ve wanted to do for some time now and this will be the right entrance into that world.”
